Reimbursement for SYMLIN

Amylin provides reimbursement assistance for patients who are having difficulty accessing coverage for SYMLIN.

Reimbursement Hotline
Call 1-800-330-7647 (or fax 1-800-305-0277) to access the Amylin Reimbursement Hotline, administered by TheraCom, Inc. Reimbursement Specialists are available to assist you Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST.

Reimbursement services include:

  • Coverage determination
  • Benefit verification
  • Assistance with prior authorization
  • Sample letter of medical necessity (LMN)

The Amylin Reimbursement Hotline can answer most questions at the time of the call. For those questions requiring further research, you will receive a call back within 24 hours.

The healthcare professional should obtain consent from the patient to release the patient's insurance information to the Amylin Reimbursement Hotline.

Patients with no public or private insurance coverage for prescription drugs may be referred to the Patient Assistance Program. In order to be considered for the Patient Assistance Program, patients will need to complete an application form and provide information on financial status. Eligibility for the program is based on a number of eligibility criteria including financial need.
